Peter Soyer Beagle (Born April 20, 1939 in New York, United State) is an American author of novels, fantasy novels, and screenwriter. He is the author of novels and his best known work is The Last Unicorn. He is also a talented guitarist and folk singer.
He studied at the Universities of Pittsburg and Stanford. He began in literature at an early age, to continue his work as a film and television scriptwriter, returning to literature after this stage. In addition, he has been a guitarist and singer.
He is widely known for his short stories and novels in the fantasy genre, with a highly imaginative style and brilliant writing. He has won numerous awards including those known in the genre Nébula and HUGO.
